Amisdt is a compact tempera painting, just 3 ½ by 3 ½ inches, where color and form took the lead during a moment of creative pause. Bold green shapes anchor the composition, balanced by lively orange accents that interrupt with quiet energy. White streaks thread through the surface, breaking up the intensity and lending space within the layered forms. Framed with a simple white matte and black border, the piece invites close attention to the rhythmic movement between color and shape. Creating this work pushed me beyond familiar boundaries, allowing something fluid and unplanned to emerge from a day marked by painter’s block.
