Now Available at The Ian Russell Gallery of Fine Art, Frosted Memories is a small oil painting, just 3 by 4 inches, that captures a quiet moment from the farm pasture where I grew up. The scene centers on a snow-covered path leading toward a wooden fence, its vertical posts and horizontal rails framed by trees still carrying rich autumnal hues. Light filters softly through the branches, casting a warm glow that contrasts with the cool texture of the snow. In working on this piece, I focused on the subtle play of light and shadow, using delicate brushwork to bring out the depth and stillness of a winter day remembered.
