Ochre Cliffs
$100
Ochre Cliffs is a small oil study, just 3 by 4 inches, where I focus on the rugged meeting of land and sea. On the left, textured cliffs appear in deep browns and ochres, their surfaces shaped by layered, purposeful brushstrokes. These rocky forms extend into a lively sea, where blues and greens shift with the movement of the waves. Above, a broad sky stretches wide, soft blues warmed by clouds resting near a luminous sun. A distant dark landmass on the horizon grounds the scene, adding quiet depth. This piece grew from my fascination with coastline edges—their rugged presence and the persistent energy of surf—captured here with attention to light, texture, and the natural rhythms of the shore
