I’m sharing a new watercolor titled *Up Country*, a compact study measuring 2 by 3 inches, matted to about 3 by 4. It captures a quiet stretch of rolling green hills beneath a clear blue sky, where soft, fluid brushstrokes trace the gentle rise and fall of the landscape. Scattered white clouds add a measured contrast, allowing the composition to breathe and settle into a calm natural rhythm. This piece grew from a summer morning here in the up country—a moment of quiet stillness that felt worth holding onto.
